The Board of William Simpsons is a friendly and welcoming group of professionals who give their time and expertise to the charity on a voluntary basis.  Their role is to oversee the operation of the organisation at a strategic level, providing support to the management team and guiding the charity towards a successful and sustainable future.

Each Director has their own area of professional expertise which is drawn upon within the Board.  The serving Directors have professional backgrounds within business and finance, accounting, strategic level social care management, training and wellbeing within the corporate sector and law.  This careful balance of skills and expertise provides a sound knowledge and experience base and ensures decisions are well grounded and considered from all relevant angles.

    It gives me great satisfaction to know that my professional experience has contributed      to the enhancement of care provision and the experience of care for both residents              and staff alike.

With the growth of the charity we are looking to expand our Board of Voluntary Directors.  We are offering a rare and exciting opportunity to contribute at a strategic level to the positive progression of social care provision within the mental health sector.

We welcome roles of interest from candidates with a professional background within the Finance, Marketing or Fundraising sectors.  These additional skillsets will be crucial as the organisation moves forward towards realising our future plans for the enhancement and expansion of William Simpsons Care Home and the services it provides.
