The Place to Be on a Saturday Night...

It's time to dig out your dancing shoes as residents have chosen to take you down to the Saturday Night Social Club Disco! 

There's a special sense of anticipation in the Home as the day draws in on the first Saturday of every month and residents ready themselves for an evening of enjoyment filled with music and dancing, carefully curated by DJ Pedro & his super assistant Samantha!

Every month there's a different DISCO theme which helps to keep things fresh and a whole lot of fun! The Disco Duo dress to impress and residents love to see Sam's smashing outfits!  There's also plenty of opportunity for residents to raid the dressing up box if they fancy following the theme...

These evenings are interactive, residents' music requests are encouraged and there's a mic at the ready for anyone who wants to sing.  There's always lot of banter and laughter as friends get together for a night on the town... so it's no surprise really that the residents consulted said that Disco Nights are one of their favourite things!

The Saturday Night Social Club opens it's doors every week at 5.30pm, with tables dressed in black satin, glitter and flickering led candle lights the place certainly has a very different feel.  A range of 'Saturday-night-only' soft drinks are served fancy glasses and nibbles are made available to each cosy, club table.  

On Disco nights the room is lit with bright, chasing lights and the music soon gets residents moving.  It makes no difference whether it's  a full-on dance floor fandango, catching the rhythm and grooving in a seat, or tapping toes in time with the beat, it's all mood boosting magic and it feels just as good!
